I blame hostel computers
Now I’ve for certain lost any readership I had, but for those of you who are filling the late night void with internet and stumble across my almost forgotten blog- I thank you, immensely. Currently I’m writing from Cancun, Mexico. I’m spending the night here and nothing more, I assure you. But my flight to Habana, Cuba was messed up because of swine flu regulation in Cuba. My flight was refunded and that was that. I had Motorcyle Diaries read and Hemingway’s Old Man and the Sea, I made friends with a Swiss kid and his gigantic Che Guevara tattoo, in other words, I was insanely ready, and still am, but flights from Mexico don’t seem to be opening anytime soon. I might try to buy a ticket before I head home in mid July, but funding may prevent it. But to make up for it I’ve decided to head down to Guatemala by way of Belize tomorrow. I have no real desire to see Belize, mainly because it’s one of the more pricier places in Central America so I’ll jet through and hopefully find myself in Rio Dulce, Guatemala sometime tomorrow night or early the next morning. A lot has occurred in the last 3 weeks: my sister Deana came to visit me, I’ve spent a week on an island in the Carribbean as big as my high school and met loads of interesting people from all over. I promise I’ll write more.
