2)    I went with my two roomies, Helene and Juliet, but also a friend from Edmonton, Libby, her sister who came to visit, Bell, Jake from Maine but who lives in Montreal and Jesse from Illinois but who, as well, lives in Montreal. (He makes fun of me for being from California, because apparently we lack good ole Mid-Western common sense- Jesse- look at your shorts. Where was your common sense then?). We were a big group. I hadn’t really had the chance to hang out with all of them like this and it was really fun. Traveling with people you learn a lot about them: what they wear to bed or if they wear anything to bed, how often they call home, how impatient they truly are- that type of thing.
